CHANGE WE CAN BELIEVE IN



Effective Thanksgiving 2008, the race formerly
known as the Turkey Beach Trot will be CHANGED to
the TURKEY TRAIL TROT (T3), to be held Thanksgiving
Morning at the Polo Field in Golden Gate Park.

Due to US Code Title 16, Section 1538, and "concerns"
from the Audubon Society, running events are no
longer permitted at Ocean Beach, a federally
protected habitat for the anti-Turkey
and anti-Trot Snowy Plover.

Apparently, no one paid attention to this US Code
when official race permits were issued for the
Turkey Beach Trot in 2003-2006.

November 2008 is about CHANGE. "Joe the Turkey" will
be channeling his MAVERICK race energy into creating:
