Birthdate:
09/14/76
Hometown: Come By Chance, Newfoundland, Canada
Occupation: Engineer (Naval Architect)
Education: B.Eng. Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN), St. John's,
Newfoundland, Canada
Family Life: Single. My Parents still live in Come By Chance. I have an
older sis in Calgary and a younger bro in St. John's the Capital of Newfoundland.
Running History: I started running off and on in University so I could
maintain my diet of Fried Chicken, Pizza and Beer and still appear remotely attractive to
the opposite sex.
Miles per week: 0-20
Pace: Don't really know. Somewhere around 8 min/miles sounds about right.
Favorite Race: I've only done a few in my running career and only one since
I've been in CA, so I guess that would be it. Bridge to Bridge
Best Running Experience: 1999 Tely 10. It's an historic 10 miler in St.
John's Newfoundland. I started off slow and well behind the pack. About half way through I
opened it up and ran a 6 min pace for the last few miles. Past alot of people. It felt
good until I finished.
Worst Running Experience: 1999 Tely 10 - What was I thinking! I was not
ready to be running 10 miles at race pace. Almost passed out at the finish, could barley
walk for a week.
Diet: I try to eat healthy when I'm home but I travel for work and eat crap
when on the road.
Injuries: Nothing major. Screw up calf from running, Neck from car
accident, Sprained wrist from Mountain biking, Shoulder from skiing. All of which still
ache from time to time.
Non-Running Interests: Skiing, mountain biking, Hiking.
Who would star as you in the Hollywood story of your life?
