I have run to train for local fun runs, for general exercise and to help keep me together mentally:-) I always feel better and enjoy running, but consistency over time has been my challenge with running. Miles per week: on a good week, 15 miles Paces: I'm in the elite slow paced group at what feels
like 10+/- minute miles Best Running Experience: Years ago, as part of a training run: I have fond memories of running across the golden gate bridge in the rain feeling good and happy from the endorphins and amazed that I was actually running a good distance, enjoying the rain, and active before the rest of the city was even out of bed on an early Saturday morning. Worst Running Experience: I remember hating running and feeling nauseous from forced sprinting and running many laps for PE class at San Rafael High School. Diet: I have healthy intentions with unhealthy tendencies. I like eating fresh fruits, vegetables, and fish, but I also like to eat ginger molasses cookies, and the stuff that's bad for you too often. Injuries: shin/ankle stuff Non-Running Interests: I'm a nature girl and I get my fix by hiking, some
backpacking and other outdoor pursuits. I also like all the usual stuff:
eating out, going to plays, hearing music, reading, being with friends and
family and traveling.
