Hometown:  Lafayette, CA (over bridge and through tunnel...)

Occupation: Too complicated to explain really, but suffice it to say it's with an Investment Bank. 

Education:  French Lit. from U.C. Irvine

Family Life:  Parents still local, with one younger sis in Hong Kong

Running History:   barely there?  Been slowly picking it up over the last two years... been a bit hit and miss over time, but spurred on by my sister.

Miles per week:  15-20 would be ideal, but I suppose that's going to change.

Paces:   9-10 I guess

Favorite Race:  Haven't done too many but I'd have to say Mare Island to Medusa

Best Running Experience:  Running the above race with my father and getting to play in the park afterwards... there were no lines so my dad kept saying "well, that was fun, do you think the ride's any different in the middle?  what about the back?" and so on until we'd ridden every ride about 3 times each by noon.   Okay, so it's more of a Marine World experience than a running one, but the running got us there.

Worst Running Experience:   Doing a Stinson Beach run too soon after another race - the 1800 foot climb in three miles just about killed me.

Diet:   Try to eat well mostly by keeping to the motto "if I don't buy it, I can't eat it".

Injuries:  none

Non-Running Interests:   Salsa!  (the dance and not the food, although the food ain't too bad either!).  I've found it's great exercise and good for the abs too - sure beats sit-ups!  Travel, Reading, Movies, etc.

Who would star as you in the Hollywood story of your life?  Meg Ryan?  dunno, she's so expressive... but I wouldn't dare compare myself to her....
